Hello. Nice to meet you.
Are you having trouble coping with difficulties or adjusting to big changes? Book a consult or session to talk about it. You can then choose the best format for your own healing: in-person individual sessions, tele-health via video chat, walking sessions in nature, relationship therapy with a loved one, group art therapy, or any combination thereof.
For those who haven't been to therapy yet, or even those who have had less than ideal experiences in treatment before, we ask you to look at therapy as a collaboration. It's not another item on your to-do list: instead, look at it as an hour of “me time” that allows you to breathe, prioritize, and go into the rest of your life feeling confident and assured.
About the Therapist - Sharee Allen, LMFT
I believe in your capability to get better. I have been practicing Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy since 2014, and have worked with children, adolescents, families, couples, groups, and adults. I treat individuals who struggle with addiction, PTSD, anxiety and depression, as well as those going through big changes such as adjustment to illness, divorce/remarriage and bereavement.
I am a Kentucky and Ohio Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with an MA in Art Therapy and MFT from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. I have a BA in Psychology from Alfred University in western New York. I have completed many additional trainings including American Red Cross's Child-Friendly Spaces for trauma treatment, Multidimensional Family Therapy training, and ASIST training for suicide prevention. I am strongly committed to constantly learning and seeking knowledge to help you and your loved ones.
Currently, I accept clients who are 13 years old or older, and my areas of focus are families undergoing life transitions (including new parents), individuals seeking trauma treatment, and LGBTQ+ couples and polycules.
